Indonesia Through the Eyes of 10 Instagrammers

Photographer Andri Tambunan likes to refer to himself as a “visual communicator.” That means using not just his camera, but tools like photosharing site Instagram to tell stories about issues ranging from environmental degradation to social inequality.

He spent the majority of 2014 documenting cases of HIV/AIDS in Papua and West Papua. The two provinces have the highest HIV/AIDS prevalence in Indonesia, at 15 times the national average.
