After finishing our time with the firefighters and learning from their lives, we then had a chance to travel to many different districts of Lima and learn about the history, the culture, and the lifestyle of the people living in this city.
This picture was taken while we were in Centro de Lima. This district is where the government and historical buildings are located.
In the Centro de Lima, we visited a museum that displayed the work of Nicomedes Santa Cruz and the efforts he made to preserve and cherish the Afro Peruvian culture.
Our group had the amazing opportunity to go and watch a cultural dance show and participate in some dancing as well.
We have been working in historical work sites and learning about the history and legacy of the Incan heritage.
